On October 27th, 2025, the welcome event between the CEO Club and the US Ambassador, and the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City took place in a friendly and open atmosphere. This is an opportunity for the parties to strengthen cooperation, share experiences, and promote investment promotion activities, aiming to expand opportunities for the Vietnamese business community in the US market.
Distinguished U.S. and Vietnamese Participants
The event welcomed senior representatives from the U.S. side. Attendees included Mr. Marc Knapper, U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam; Ms. Melissa Brown, U.S. Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Gregory Harris, Principal Commercial Officer; Ms. Talisa Woodroffe, Vice Consul; and Mr. Huynh Minh Triet, Senior Commercial and Investment Specialist.
Meanwhile, the Vietnamese delegation was led by Madam Dang Minh Phuong, Chairwoman of the CEO Club. She attended the event together with members from leading Vietnamese enterprises such as MP Logistics, Vinh Hoan Corporation, and PPJ Group.
CEO Club’s Role in Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation
The event created a valuable platform for dialogue. Representatives from both sides exchanged information and shared practical insights. At the same time, they reaffirmed their commitment to supporting one another in market access and investment expansion. Therefore, the meeting strengthened mutual trust and cooperation.
Opening New Collaboration Opportunities
Beyond networking, the program opened new avenues for cooperation in trade, logistics, and sustainable supply chain development. As a result, it supported the long-term and effective growth of Vietnam–U.S. economic relations, with the CEO Club acting as a facilitation hub.
Highlighting the SelectUSA Program
In addition, the event introduced the SelectUSA Program. This is a U.S. government initiative under the Department of Commerce. The program supports and facilitates foreign direct investment into the United States. It is designed to help Vietnamese enterprises expand their presence and develop business operations in the U.S. market.
