International livestock exhibition to open in HCM City in October

The 3-day event focusing on livestock production transformation for better productivity and sustainability.

Vietnam’s International Feed, Livestock, Aquaculture & Meat Industry Show (Vietstock) Expo & Forum 2024 is scheduled to open in Ho Chi Minh city on October 9.

The three-day event will be co-organized by the Department of Livestock Production under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Informa Markets with the theme of transforming livestock production for better productivity and sustainability.

The event not only provides an opportunity to display and introduces advanced products and technologies but also creates favorable conditions for stakeholders, businesses, researchers, and experts in the industry to exchange, learn and share experience.

Over the years, the livestock industry has always played an important role in maintaining the growth of Vietnam’s agriculture.

In 2023, livestock exports earned $515 million, a year-on-year growth of 26.2%.
