November 7, 2025 – The CEO Club Vietnam and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City (JCCH) successfully co-hosted their annual intimate networking dinner, a significant event led by the CEO Club.

The event was honored to welcome many important guests: Madam Dang Minh Phuong – Chairwoman of the CEO Club; and Mr. Kume Kunihide – President of JCCH. This reaffirmed the importance and profound interest of the business communities in both countries in strengthening cooperation, boosting trade partnerships, and exploring and expanding potential partnership opportunities between Vietnam and Japan.

In her welcome speech, Madam Dang Minh Phuong shared impressive figures, demonstrating the remarkable growth in the Vietnam – Japan partnership. Specifically, as of July 2025, Japan continued to be one of Vietnam’s leading investors, with a total valid Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) capital reaching approximately 79.4 billion USD across 5,608 projects. Bilateral trade turnover in the first 7 months of 2025 reached nearly 28.92 billion USD, a strong increase of nearly 10% compared to the same period last year. Madam Minh Phuong also emphasized that this cooperative relationship is not only reflected in numbers but also in the shared value of sustainable cooperation. With a history of more than 20 years of formation and development, the CEO Club has always maintained its role of connecting and supporting the establishment and development of high-value, potential partnerships.

Following the Chairwoman of the CEO Club, Mr. Kume – the Representative of JCCH, also expressed his honor in maintaining this important networking tradition with the CEO Club. Mr. Kume, who has been actively working to enhance support for Japanese businesses in Vietnam, highlighted JCCH’s common goal: to contribute to the development of Vietnam’s economy, and to expand and promote economic activities between Japan and Vietnam. He also shared that the central message this year is to deepen the Vietnam – Japan relationship and collectively build a sustainable future.

The dinner concluded in a warm and connected atmosphere. Madam Dang Minh Phuong not only extended her deepest gratitude but also called upon all members of the CEO Club and JCCH to fully utilize the networking opportunities to enhance strategic cooperation, and together cultivate and solidify the Vietnam – Japan partnership.

The event successfully created a warm, inspiring, and resounding atmosphere. Crucially, we believe this occasion has unlocked new prospects and established a solid foundation for fostering concrete business cooperation opportunities among the member enterprises of both sides. The CEO Club is committed to continuing its facilitative role to ensure these potentials are realized promptly.
