On September 22, 2026, CEO Club, in collaboration with the Singapore Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (SingCham Vietnam), hosted a business networking luncheon attended by members and corporate leaders. Held in an elegant setting, the event provided an opportunity for participants to connect, exchange perspectives, and explore new avenues of cooperation between Vietnamese and Singaporean businesses.

The event was honored to welcome Mr. Pang Te Chang, Consul-General of the Republic of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City, and Mr. Tan Quee Peng, President of SingCham Vietnam. Representing CEO Club were Mr. Sami Nour Kteily, Senior Advisor to CEO Club, and Mr. Johan Nyvene, Vice Chairman of CEO Club, alongside members of both SingCham Vietnam and CEO Club.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Johan Nyvene, Vice Chairman of CEO Club, emphasized that the luncheon was more than a networking occasion. It served as a strategic bridge to foster dialogue and unlock new opportunities for cooperation between the Vietnamese and Singaporean business communities.

He noted that Singapore is currently one of Vietnam’s leading foreign investors, with total registered capital exceeding USD 75 billion across more than 3,500 active projects. The Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP) stand as a prominent example of the successful partnership between the two countries.

“Singapore brings strengths in finance, technology, and global networks, while Vietnam offers a dynamic workforce, rapid growth, and a market rich in potential. By combining these advantages, both sides can create opportunities that neither country could achieve alone,” he emphasized.

Gatherings such as this luncheon not only help members better understand one another’s capabilities and needs but also lay the groundwork for meaningful and long-term partnerships.

According to Mr. Tan, SingCham Vietnam will continue supporting Singaporean businesses throughout their operations in Vietnam. The association will also strengthen connections with the local business community to facilitate knowledge sharing, partner identification, and new growth opportunities.
